Capricorn Mutual's Home Building Protection provides protection for your home building on the basis of its replacement value. This means that if your claim for protection is accepted, Capricorn Mutual will pay, up to the relevant sum protected, to repair or rebuild your home to its previous condition, at today's prices.
Protections include:
- Loss or damage to home buildings
- Purchasers' interest
- Electric motor burnout
- Inflation
- Fire brigade costs
- Public authorities
- Your legal liability
- Rent assistance
- Hobby farm buildings
- Flood damage (optional)
The decision to grant protection to a member and the level of protection granted is subject to the discretion of the Board.
