Capricorn Mutual's Home Contents Protection is based on replacement value at today's prices. The first step is to identify what it is you have that might need replacement and then work out an estimate of the replacement cost for replacing each of the items.
Only you know what is in your home, so only you can identify the level of protection that you need. Capricorn Mutual has developed a Home Contents Calculator to help you estimate the cost of replacing the items in your home. Remember, it is your responsibility to make sure all of your home contents are protected for their full replacement value at today's prices.

- Home contents temporarily removed
- Visitors' property
- Electric motor burnout
- Frozen food spoilage
- Your legal liability
- Accidental damage (optional)
- Hobby farm contents
- Flood damage (optional)
The decision to grant protection to a member and the level of protection granted is subject to the discretion of the Board.
